Our Story
The Capitol Riverfront Parks Foundation, established by the Capitol Riverfront BID in 2017, serves as a philanthropic arm dedicated to advancing the BID’s mission through charitable initiatives. The Foundation’s primary goal is to enhance, support, and sustain the neighborhood’s vital parks and public spaces—strengthening the community-centered spirit that defines Capitol Riverfront.
With an abundance of parks and green spaces, Capitol Riverfront offers places to gather, play, and recharge and the Foundation is committed to making the neighborhood more vibrant, resilient, and inclusive. Through investments in public realm improvements, community programming, and accessibility initiatives, we work to ensure that our parks are welcoming to all, foster environmental sustainability, and nurture a shared sense of place.
